Hello All – 

Just wanted to give a quick update.  Our last fundraiser on January 9th raised $8,600, half of which was donated to the PlayforTrey Foundation!  The other half was donated to the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation!  Thanks to everyone who supported, came out, and bought an auction item. 

Yesterday was Trey’s birthday, he would have been 7.  We had an incredible weekend celebration with family and friends.  

Mindy and I had both been baptized before, individually, but it was important for us to do it together after what happened to Trey. We questioned God and do not always understand his plan but do know we had given our lives to Christ and are still believers, even though we may not always understand his plans. On Sunday we took the plunge together and re-affirmed our faith by being baptized together. We also made sure and had communion afterwards. Billinis and beer! Yeah Jesus! God is good and we are blessed to have the family, friends, and life we have.

Yesterday, March 17th (Trey and my Dad’s Birthday) we spent the day in Breckenridge, as we had his 6 previous birthdays.  We spread Trey’s ashes on some of his favorite tree runs and terrains parks.  After skiing we celebrated with friends and family.  We came home to many gifts friends had left for Trey in our front yard and on our porch.  It was truly a great suprise.  

Mindy and I continue to be blessed with all the friends, family, and support we have received.  

We are still working plans for the next year and growing the foundation along with the new website.  Our goal is to release the web site and news of upcoming events for the year before the anniversary of the Trey’s passing (June 14th).
